Installation

1

Download pltypo.dll and install.ps1 from the latest release

2

Place both files in the same folder

3

Right-click install.ps1 and select "Run with PowerShell" (it auto-elevates to admin)

4

Restart your computer

5

Go to Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region > Keyboard and add the new layout

To apply to login screen: Win+R > intl.cpl > Administrative > Copy settings > check both boxes

To uninstall, run the script again — it detects the install and offers uninstall interactively.

If Explorer crashes: run .\install.ps1 -HardCleanup to remove all traces.

About

This project extends standard keyboard layouts with typographic symbols accessible via AltGr (Right Alt). Em dashes, curly quotes, copyright signs, currency symbols, and more — all without switching layouts or memorizing Unicode codes.
